Finally!

That Beagle has left the premises. He went with my aunt, so I don't think he'll be gone long--but it's about time I got to soak in the sun without being leaped upon. He was also bathed, trimmed and looking far too pleased with himself. Who knows what he'll be like when he returns.

In the meantime, I can talk about actually important things.

Things like the way my person has been working on her web design job. I would grump that she named it BLUE HOUND VISIONS, except I know it's named after Strider the Wonderhound. Strider was with my person for a long time before I arrived to make her life perfect, so he explained the rules to me. Later I became his hearing ear dog. I helped him hide his deafness from my person for a whole year.

So it's okay if she named the web work after him. He was mine, too.

Now here is the point I wanted to make last week, but That Beagle was too busy being bossy and taking up all the space near the keyboard. Doesn't he think other dogs would like to sleep on my person's feet now and then? Rude. Otherwise I would have said this earlier:

My person has expanded her web business!

She has new programs, and new books, and she's spent much time doing what she calls "adding skills." Don't ask me what the Zen of CSS means, but she seems to understand it. She says it's fun. She's been doing it for ten years so I gather she knows. I think she should be giving me excuses to earn treats instead, but people are mysterious like that sometimes.
