Where HAS THIS BEEN?

It's VERY COLD.
Mymom has a blanket thing for Belle, because of her back. Her back doesn't like the cold. Belle has TWO blanket things--one looks like a horse blanket and the rain runs off it. It has padding. I wear it sometimes, but not much. Who can tell what mymom is thinking when she sticks it on me.
Belle's other blanket is soft and she wears it underneath the other one if it's REALLY COLD or her back is being mean. But lately it's been MY BLANKET. Sometimes. I don't wear it when I just go out to sit in the sun, but if we're getting ready to PLAY AGILITY, then mymom gets it for me.
I don't like it much.
BAWH!
But even if I duck, she can get it on me. Even when I'm all excited about PLAYING AGILITY.
What's a "thumb," anyway?
Then when I play agility, I still wear it. And Belle wears hers, and we don't jump as high (except I do because I WANT TO). Mymom wears a lot of very funny clothes, too. How can she move?
But all that's not what I started to talk about.
It's about THE FISHPOLE TOY.
WHERE HAS THIS BEEN?
WHY HASN'T MYMOM BROUGHT IT OUT BEFORE?
I know she had it. It doesn't smell new. It has an old toy tied to it. She even had to fix it before we could play with it.
AND THE TOY SPINS AND WHIRLS AND RUNS AWAY AND LEAPS AND BOUNCES AND
BAAWWWWWHSOME!
Mymom let Belle play with it more. I think she brought it out for Belle. Since Belle HAS TO BE PERFECT, she worries a lot. When mymom says she's good, she gives a Belle Face that says, "I don't believe you."
I ALWAYS believe mymom if she says I'm GOOD. I even believe it when she doesn't say it.
Belle forgot to be PERFECT and prissy when she saw the FISHPOLE TOY. Her eyes got funny, the way myfriend Sam-the-Border-Collie's eyes get when she sees a little dog. She made herself low to the ground and she chased and herded the FISHPOLE TOY. I didn't know she could PLAY THAT FAST.
Then mymom let me play! I played RIGHT. I did LEAPING AND BOUNDING AND PAW-GRABBING AND--
I want it more. I want it NOW. Why did mymom wait so long to fix it? When will she bring it out again?
