Back at the keyboard
Jun. 8th, 2007 03:51 pmWell! It's been a while since I had the opportunity to post. Entirely unacceptable. If my person isn't grumbling about migraines or throwing paperwork around the office, denying access to the computer, she's off on the road with Belle and That Beagle. Even Jean-Luc went on the last trip!
I stay home, which is good. Someone needs to watch out for this place. But the computer is turned off, which greatly reduces my opportunities to use it.
Now my person is getting ready for another show. It's local, which is obvious to any dog with enough sense to observe what's being packed. And it's not agility, because she's got out the obedience leashes. I used to do obedience, but I'm too demure to show off like some dogs, so I was careful to be extremely creative whenever we were in front of a judge. The audience used to exclaim over my cleverness. I'm not sure my person ever did.
However, because I finally have access to the computer and because these things seem to be left up to me, I have important news. My person has been jumping all around because she has a new cover. Frankly, I think she's going to do herself an injury. Maybe if I post this cover, she'll stop jumping and come over to stare at it. So here it is.
It is for Dun Lady's Jess, which was my person's first book and is now coming out in a special super-spiffy edition. That's what she calls it. Personally, I'm sure there's a more dignified way to put it. But whatever makes her happy...
