Reply to a Wonder Whippet

I'm a whippet, and I hate when the weave poles touch me. I work hard to
make sure I weave VERY carefully so that I never touch a pole. Sometimes
I am so careful that it takes me 8 seconds to finish all 12 of them. For
some reason, Mommy wants me to go faster, so I'm trying.

I touch the poles! I shove the poles! They should just get out of my way!

But this last weekend I didn't like the weaves very much. When I went zooming into them, the ground did something funny and WENT AWAY. And I FELL. I had to start again.

I was VERY CAREFUL on the rest of the weaves. And now mymom is REALLY SORRY she made me sit still to grind my nails short.

The Excellence of MEEEEE

I am EXCELLENT.

No, REALLY.

I went to another agility play weekend, and I was VERY GOOD. Mymom made me feel SPECIAL with COOKIES and KISSES and I was ready to run. I did everything she said and she made a new noise for me:

"SQUEEEEEE!!!"

She said now I'm an EXCELLENT dog. But I knew that!

Then she said I had been an OPEN dog. I looked, but I'm not. Everything is closed that should be closed. But after that I figured it out, because we ran another course and it was HARDER. So she means I'm running the HARDEST AKC COURSES now and I was PERFECT on the first one.

I don't think she should have been surprised about that.

BAWH!
