Looks like I have to do everything...
Jan. 5th, 2006 11:41 pmEven if I have to steal it.
Yes, I have been in my person's files. She certainly needs to do some housekeeping in there. Perhaps if she'd let me stay inside all the time, I could find the time to do it for her. Currently my inside schedule is far too busy--I'm way behind in my luxury sleep and must catch up.
This is what I found. I think it's important to my person, so I'm putting it up here.
Western New York Writers Come Full Circle
January 3, 2006 -- Western New York authors Doranna Durgin and Lorraine Bartlett used to meet regularly to critique each other's work and plot out their writing futures. Durgin sold her first fantasy novel in '93 and went charging off into that genre, while Bartlett focused on mystery. More than a decade later--and now living thousands of miles apart--the pair have come full circle. Both celebrate the launch of their mystery novels on January 21st, 2006.
Bartlett's book, Murder on the Mind, is a paranormal thriller set in Buffalo, N.Y. and the first in a series featuring psychic sleuth Jeff Resnick. Durgin, whose many fantasy novels explore the relationship between man and animal, has penned Nose for Trouble--a cozy mystery featuring a veterinarian and his Beagle, both of whom have a nose for...well, trouble. Both hardcovers are published by Five Star Publications, an imprint of Thomson-Gale, and cost $25.95. In February, Durgin's book will appear in large-print format via Wheeler Press.
On January 21st at 2pm, Bartlett launches Murder on the Mind at The Write Book and Gift Shop at 19 North Main Street in
Honeoye Falls, NY. On that same day at 2pm in a southwestern time zone, Durgin launches Nose for Trouble at the Well Red Coyote in Sedona, Arizona, 3190 W. Highway 89A.
